January Desktop Template Challenge

Welcome to January’s desktop challenge. Each day we turn on our PC’s and the first thing we see is our desktop image. I don’t know about you all, but I love to create a different desktop(with calendar) each month to brighten up the cold screen..lol

Ok So what does this challenge involve?

Simple:

1. Download 1 of the templates below that best suits your screen size.Each template download contains 1 psd file.(each template can be adjusted to fit your particular screen as well)

Download template 1: 1024 x 768

Download template 2: 1280×1024

2. Use a kit of your liking or one of the many gorgeous creations on offer here at DSO and the template to create your desktop background. You can embellish your desktop anyway you see fit.

3. Upload your desktop layout to the template gallery HERE and attach a link back here in the comments of this post (before January 31st), so I can leave you some lovin’ for all your hard work and then send you the posting bonus below.

    Okay – having done the November challenge, I realize that I must continue, unless I want to look at November on my desktop forever, lol!

    Soooo – here’s my December entry. I left the calendar off, in case my January desktop is late.

    The gorgeous snowy wooded paper from the Nov PB for the lyrics challenge inspired me to create this desktop, full of memories from past Christmases.

    I LOVE looking at it – thanks for enticing me to play!

    Charlie I LOVE that mask!
    Even to the point that I didn’t put in any elements. You’d think that it was a quick made page then. LOL. But it took long to decide I really couldn’t find anything that made it look better, or even just as good as I loved this look.

    This was so much fun, thank you for the great template and for hosting. I can not use the type file for the template so adapted what I could to png. However could not do that with the mask, so had to use another one, hope that was okay. Link here

    Phew just about made it. Just loved Dinphy’s cute snowmen she used in her kit so decided to make my desktop with it. Absolute opposite to what January is here in Australia LOL
