If this is the first time you are taking part in my Challenge on the DSO Challenge blog- DON’T PANIC. Its the same format as before ;-)

    @Dinphy, BWWWWWWAHAHAHAHAHA- Dinphy you only have to use THREE of the colours provided and can add as many others as you want remember??

    I added the leaves as a *colour break* for all the pink/orange. and it’s not an official colour in the swatch- you can add whatever colour you feel you want, as long as the SWATCH COLOURS are in your kit or LO too ;-)

    I love these colors! The middle color is very close to the “victorian lilac” we used for my wedding. Can’t wait to create with this palette. This might even light the fire and get me going on my wedding scrapbook. :-P

    Every year I take a picture of our friends, Aileen & Bryce, on New Year’s Eve. This is 2009′s ‘take’. Aren’t they an adorable couple? Aileen and I have been best friends since we were 19 years old…can you imagine – Four decades of friendship!! Holey Smokes!!! We’re old! Anyway, to create this layout, I used
    Kim Broedelet’s CU overlay Vintage 1 – 03 to create the background; CU saab hibiscus leaf;
    royannafritschmann_aspringinmystep_element11; LBA instantly worn overlay; WP Pixie Petals;
    mitsybelle cu flower; rachaels silkybows 4; pagew gingham and satin ribbon wrap GS – to the best of my knowledge these are all commercial use products. Many, many thanks to all the wonderful designers!

    Brand new to this challenge, is there somewhere to find the guidelines to participate? Do you have to create a kit, do you have to have a blog to participate, can you just do a layout, do you have to use all the colors and no others? Looked for an original post with rules but can’t find any. Sorry I’m dim witted.

    @Judy in SD, LOL, sorry Judy- the original rules where in the forum and I didn’t put them out so to speak on here- *slapping my wrist* ;-)

    You may do a LO with any of the free kits available in this thread, or using any kit you have that has at least three colours that are in the above swatch.
    You don’t have to have a blog at all ;-)
    If you want to do a little something to give away then you can just put the links in the comment boxes here or in the gallery when you link it up -

    PHEWWW I made it in time! You don’t hava to hurry with the PB Kim as I’m without a computer the next two weeks. I’m having a new one and I’m sending this one to my son in Copenhagen – 500 km from here – tomorrow, then he build a new one for me and install what is needed and we pick it up the first weekend in February!

    When I saw those colors I thought, how gorgeous, I’ll definitely make something with them. Then as the month went on, I wanted to at least make a layout, but then I gave up on it altogether, because I was fast running out of time.

    WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Girls I PROMISE to get you all your posting bonuses this week, With my PC crashing last week for the FULL week- I’m running behind on a lot of stuff again ( what’s new huh??- lol)
    So at least got the FEB challenge up and will be in here ASAP to close this one.

    Thanks for your patience and can’t WAIT to see what else has been created.
    PS_ my girls have really mixed feelings about the Feb colours and I have had good laughs here this morning at their comments- so I;m sure we are in for a good treat of comments and goodies- WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-lol

    @kimbob, Glad to see things are getting back to normal for you – isn’t it awful when we can’t do our www things? (Have you seen the clipart – boy on computer – manic look on face – caption “It’s only the machine that’s keeping him alive!” ?)

    Someone emailed me re my Cards by Carol blog and said they recognized that I was the same person as Juno “from DSO”! I was tickled pink!

    And finally, guess what! My younger son was married last month and I have been collecting stash for the Wedding LOs. And the wedding colours?…. The bride wore ivory, the bridesmaid aubergine, and I wore cherry red lace. Sound familiar?

    If I told you this already, kindly ignore – I think I’m losing at least part of my mind. If you find it wandering around, please send it home with reinforcements!
