If this is the first time you are taking part in my Challenge on the DSO Challenge blog-

DON’T PANIC. Its the same format as before ;-)

Just upload your previews or Layouts to the DSO Gallery -

leave a comment HERE and your preview link in the COMMENT BOX at the bottom of this post so we can all see it.

You don’t have to use ALL the colours in this swatch- just 4 of them in your LO’s or Freebie MINI kits and may add other colours if you so wish- as long as I SEE FOUR of the colours from this month you receive the posting bonus.

    Kimbo, you challenge me more and more each month! I’ve yet to do a boy’s kit and that is just about ALL we have in our family, with the exception of my two girls! Nine sons and six grandsons! EEEKS! Better get my scrap on, eh?

    I’m giggling as I’ve just taken a teddy out of my stash for another project and yours is TOO sweet! Love, love, LOVE your “boyish” kit. Your designing skills are SUPER versatile!

    Hey, there’s red in there, so I’m happy. I can guarantee that I don’t see a kids kit in those colors though. I can never seem to think in that direction. Course the only direction I’m in right now is the U.S. Tax road. Grumble.

    BTW – any status on when we can go back to the other forum format? This isn’t my most favorite way to follow a challenge. JUST ASKING!! LOL

    As for the forum- well looks like this is going to be it
    It keeps being hit by SPAM and is not pleasant to keep clean- this way we can still control the posting etc.
    Will miss it too- but I think in the long run it will be easier on the nerves-lol

    Maybe a weird place to post this, but as it came up…

    I can understand about the spam for sure.
    But I agree with Darleen.
    As this blog has no option to get the follow-up posts (except if someone replied to a post you made yourself) it’s much harder to follow. I’m now mostly following layouts in the gallery, and not much of the comments around. I also miss the images of layouts that made the forum-challenges so pleasant to read.

    Now, I’ve been on a forum where besides the ‘normal’ registration, you also have to go through personal validation by an administrator. They say, it’s worth it as it prevents from spam. I’m not sure how much extra work it would involve, surely a lot at least for the first time. Or maybe it could be done just for new members. I don’t know. It’s just a thought.
    (And if wanted, I’d be more than happy to help out.)

    @riette, I Know and I’m sooo sorry it’s so late already- with my PC crashing three times in the week before the end of the month – well, it just left me with a TON of catch to do for the first-

    KEWL COLORS! I have ideas swirling around me already….

    On another note… I think this posting on a blog instead of the forum has some of us a little discombobulated(?sp).. but there has been some frustration with links to the designers blogs not being posted with the gallery photo… It takes a lot of time to go back and read through all the comments on this blog to figure out who goes with what. Just a suggestion that we all really need to remember to post links WITH the gallery picture, and it doesn’t hurt to have it here, either… but especially with the gallery picture.

    I didn’t do a layout this month…I decided to force myself to create a kit…and, here is the link:

    Creating a kit is agonizing for me…..I am just not creative…but, I decided I needed to challenge myself this month. I scrap in 8X10, but, the papers are all 12X12 and everything is 300 dpi, of course.

    Done. Phew. Finally got it done, inbetween the ADSR race.

    @Nancy,

    Its super easy! To get the posting bonus from the color challenge you either have to do a layout using the colors for the challenge, or create a freebie & share with the others using the colors above. Post your creation either in our gallery or on your blog (or both) then come back here and comment with a link to prove you did the challenge.

    *Make sure you do it before the deadline! The challenges are only up for a month, so this one ends on the 28th!

    When you post your creation, Kim will email you the posting bonus! :)

    I made it!
    I have used Sky’s amazing kit: Vintage Grace, and one should belive you have known my father – Regnar Holm. He was a gradener and growed roses, he always had a pocket watch in his westcoast, he collected coins, and together with his brother who also was gardener – he growed chrysanthemum.
