OOOOH, late late late – but better late than never right? lol
PLEASE READ
*We are pleased to announce that June the 1st, the entire DSO site will be down apart from the challenge blog and the store because we are having a complete rebuild and will be getting our forum back- WOOT!, but to do that means we have to clean out the whole gallery and old forum to start afresh with our new one. PLEASE make sure you backup your LO’s in the gallery as they will be gone once we start redoing the site 
.
It would be wise to bookmark www.digital-scrapbooking.org so you can check for updates on how things are progressing. Can’t WAIT.

Wow! thank you for the fabulous layouts you did for my challenge last month Ladies, you certainly worked the cluster well!
Gosh is it May already! time is flying quickly this year, not that I’m complaining, as we are now into warmer weather, a bit of sunshine is just what I need.
*I am pleased to announce that June the 1st, the entire DSO site will be down apart from the challenge blog and the store! why am I pleased you ask, because we are having a rebuild and will be having our forum back, all new and pristine ready to gabble and play away! woot! but the sad new is the old gallery will be gone, so if you have layouts in your gallery you want to keep, please download them now as they will be gone June 1st*

Now onto this months challenge, you know the score by now I’m sure…. if you want to play along, leave a message here and I will send you this months animal themed cluster, all you have to do is add it to your layout in some shape or form.

Welcome to the Recipe Challenge.
Here’s how the Recipe Challenge works:
I give you a recipe and you use the ingredients (different elements) of that recipe to make a scrap page. No food involved.
May Recipe:
Something purple
stitching somewhere
3 different papers
5 things on a numbered list – (Example – your 5 favorite colors -1. purple, 2. yellow, 3. blue, 4. green, 5. red)
That’s 6 items plus the list of 5 things you need on your scrap page.
You may use other elements on your LO.
You may use any of your kits for this challenge.
The Challenge
- create a Scrap Layout using this months recipe.
- upload an image of your layout to the DSO Recipe Gallery
- leave a comment on THIS POST before May 31st, 2010 and include a LINK to your gallery posting. Be sure to come back and do this, without your gallery link I cannot find you to leave you love in the Gallery and send your Posting Bonus.
- VERY Important! The email you leave in your comment will be the one I will send your posting bonus link to. Check your spam folder if you see love for your layout and didn’t get the PB.

*June the 1st, the entire DSO site will be going down, apart from the challenge blog and the store! Why is this good news? We are having a rebuild and will have our forum back. This means that we can chat and yak and play again! But the sad new is the old gallery will be gone, so if you have layouts in your gallery you want to keep, please download them now as they will be gone June 1st*

I fell in love with this layout by Benita the instant I saw it. I adore the cluttered, almost-but-not-quite-finished feel of it, as if she was interrupted while scrapping the page – possibly dinner burning on the stove, neighbours calling or playing taxi for the kids.
You can leave her some love here.
This month’s challenge is create a messy, scrappy layout that looks half finished – as if someone took a picture of you scrapping a page while it was still a work in progress.

April showers bring May flowers…and also a new Altered Photo Challenge.
This challenge is very simple..just make your layout as usual..but alter you photo is some way. Post it in the gallery and then post your link to it and what you did to alter the photo here. If you do this I have a posting bonus for you.

On June 1, 2010 the entire DSO site will be down EXCEPT for the Challenge Blog and the Store.We are rebuilding…getting a new look and our Forum back..YES it’s coming back…all ready for more fun and chatter and all kinds of goodies. The only bad thing is that we will loose the old gallery. If you have layouts you would like to save you should download them BEFORE June 1st.
