June Font Challenge

Hi there, Nikki here, I have just come on board at DSO, designing under the name of Just Passin’ Thru. So, this is my first ever challenge hosted at DSO and I have a font challenge to kick things off.

Eduardo Recife has a great collection of some grungy freeware fonts at his super cool site, Misprinted Type. One of my favourites is Porcelain which I thought we should have a play with this month. You can click the image to visit the download page.

The challenge is simple, just create a layout or project that includes this font in some way. As the big site makeover is about to begin, you will need to upload it to your blog. If you don’t have one, you can upload our flickr group to share . Then come back here and post a link to your layout in the comments of this thread.

Here is my layout…

Supplies:
Background, daisy, decorative paper flourish from Camomile Lawn by LouCee Creations
Two tone jewelled flowers from Elegant Whisper by Legacy4Life
Ribbon and flower from Shades of Love by Legacy4Life
Gold frame from Inspire elements by Just Passin’ Thru
Additional print font: Adobe Caslon Pro

    What a lovely PB! I have used a kit by LouCeeCreations: Camomile Lawn, and a template by Bunny.

    I used some of Nikki’s pretty kit called Inspire to do this page which is probably a bit dark for a little girl but I just could not get any colours to fit together for some reason!! I started out with a template from Autumn Heart.
