Welcome to a new month of challenges. This month’s scraplift was chosen from jkcantwell.
I adore the white space and the use of different shapes to complement each other.
Your challenge this month is use the layout to inspire one of your own.
PLEASE remember that the gallery is being renovated this month so post your layouts on your blog or on our Flickr group – http://www.flickr.com/groups/dso_challenges/ and leave a reply on this blog post together with a link to your layout.
This is what you are playing for this month.
Have fun.

*June the 1st, the entire DSO site will be going down, apart from the challenge blog and the store! Why is this good news? We are having a rebuild and will have our forum back. This means that we can chat and yak and play again! But the sad new is the old gallery will be gone, so if you have layouts in your gallery you want to keep, please download them now as they will be gone June 1st*
Please bookmark www.digital-scrapbooking.org so you can keep checking in for updates on the status of the rebuild.
I fell in love with this layout by Benita the instant I saw it. I adore the cluttered, almost-but-not-quite-finished feel of it, as if she was interrupted while scrapping the page – possibly dinner burning on the stove, neighbours calling or playing taxi for the kids.

You can leave her some love here.
This month’s challenge is create a messy, scrappy layout that looks half finished – as if someone took a picture of you scrapping a page while it was still a work in progress.
Post your layout here in the Scraplift gallery so that we can leave you some love and leave a reply on this post.
As I could not take part in Kim’s colour challenge last month, I figured I could do something with it now
This is what you get for playing along – another coordinating kit with Kim’s April Colour Challenge.
Have fun and let’s see those layouts!

I spent a long time browsing the gallery and I really battled to choose a layout for this month’s challenge as there as so many stunning layouts.
Eventually I settled on Roper (Danielle’s) layout called Popsicle. I love the white space, the simplicity of the photo and the clustering around the photo. You can leave her some love here.
The idea is to use the layout to inspire a layout of your own using the colour, theme, structure or anything that pops into your mind when you look at this layout.
Remember to post your layouts to the Scraplift Gallery and then leave a comment here with a link to your layout so that we can leave you some love.
Here is what you are playing for this month.
I decided to do a layout of my own which you can see here. And just in case you are wondering who that is having a little temper tantrum? Uhm … that would be me!

Have fun!

This month I chose this layout by Hutchie because I loved the journaling and the neat, ordered look and feel of the layout. I especially loved how she used similar photos of the pretty girl.
You can leave her some love here: http://digiscrapobsession.net/pics/showphoto.php?photo=8866&ppuser=16

Your challenge is to use this layout to inspire you in creating a new layout. Use the theme, colours, layout or whatever hits your heart and post your layout here in the DSO Gallery. Remember to leave a reply here and leave a link to your layout so that we can come and ‘oooohhh’ and ‘aaawww’ a bit

I chose a SIMPLE but beautiful layout by mrscarol_1

Welcome to the DSO January Scraplift Challenge, the first for 2010.
This month I chose the following layout from Kerri. I adore the colours and the blocking. The whole layout reminds me of a crazy quilt which is something I would love to sew but I do not have the patience.

Using the above layout to inspire you, create a new layout using either the colours, theme or layout and post your layouts here. Remember to leave a comment here on this post on the DSO Challenge Blog together with a link to your layout so that we can leave you “summa luvvin”.
Don’t forget to leave a valid email address on your comment otherwise I cannot send you the links for the posting bonus. The email addresses will NOT be published.
Here’s is what you are playing for this month:

This month’s chosen layout was by Nani. I adore the layered frames placed randomly over the photos and all the overlapping layers. You can leave her some love here.

The idea is to use the layout to inspire you, either in colours, layout or theme and scrap something of your own.
This is how the new blog challenges work:
Post your layout in the gallery HERE as per normal and then leave a comment here on the blog, below before December 31st, along with a link to your layout in the gallery so that we can leave you some love.
This is what you are playing for this month.

Hugs
Di
